Holiday

Hi everyone!

The reason for my long absence, is holiday! I really needed a vacation, because I was working on a theater production for over 2 months now, and we had the premiere 4, june. We played 5 shows over 3 days, so you could say I wasn't at my top when it was over.

So the journey when to a place called Skien in Norway, my aunt lives there. They just moved, so me and my cousin when to see the house and the city. I had a really good time, I think I gaind weight when I was there. So we didn't do so much of use!
I was looking for some miniaturestores, but it's not a very big hobby here in Norway... sadly.

But now I'm home for about two weeks before I set my nose to Finland! It's a choir trip, we're having some conserts and a musical show, so I'm looking forward to that. I asked Merry Jingle for help finding some miniaturestores in kokkola, but sadly there's no one where I'm going.
Just wanted to thank her for the help, and please check out her blog. She's working on this amazing house, I love it. Totally worth a look everyone;)

I'm going to do some miniatures today, I just need to help with the house and then I can do some!

I also wanted to say Hi to my new followers, Thank you for following me!

Have a nice day!

Finally!

Now, I've finally managed to take some pictures of what I've
been creating these past days. I've been in a really productive periode,
and that's a good thing because, when I'm doing miniatures I relax.
I put on some good/relaxing music and then the prosess begins.

As you can see, some of the bottles can't stand up. Stupid me forgot to check
if they could stand. The same with one of the nailpolish bottles.
I think the nailpolish bottles looks like real nailpolish bottles!:)
One of my biggest inspiration is NIKKI, so you can see I've copied her idea.
I hope it's not a tooo big crime, but I got a load marbles laying in a box.
And now I could juse some of them to something useful.

These bottles need some paint and some pearls on the top, to be complete.

The fishbottles was suppose to be standing on their mouths,
but my idea kindaa didn't work!
I know it's a bad photo, but it was the best one I had taken. Sry

Creepy hand, but I love it!

These octopus bottles are some of the things I'm most proud of!
They was fun to make also, just find out how many arms you want it to have.
make small balls, use a needle and push them on the arms.
and when u turn it, place something in the middle (where the mouth suppose to be)
And arrange the arms.

what do you think?:)

This is my love potions!
I had a load of white marbles, and I was thinking on a way to decorate them.
And suddenly it hit me, angelwings.
and since white is one of dream colors, it fitted perfectly!
Do u see my colibri bird?
Have a creative week everybody!

Now I'm waiting for the newly painted roombox to dry..
Pink and white, is my color choice for the outdoor.
And I had to mix the pink myself, so I was very lucky to find a nice color,
at my first attempt!:)

Now I'm heading down to fetsh my camera, so pictures are coming soon!

Wish u all a nice week!

Nobody's Side

(Me at the opening of NORDIC LIGHT, photo: Ken Alvin )

Oh my god..
It's been a long time since I've been in here!
The time goes by to quickly!
I've been so busy.

I've had two conserts.
(And that takes time, because it requires a lot of practise)
The band and I wasn't home before 1 pm in the night.
I got about 6 hours sleep, and went off to work.
I have been so lucky that the nearest kindergarden has offered me
a 70% posision.

The consert went very well.
I enjoyed every minute of it!
So most likely we are going to Oslo ( the capital of Norway)
with the program we had!
It's not until october, so we have some time to polish the song.

Sadly, I haven't had enough time to do miniatures.
I've only made some signs, that can hang on the doorknobs.
I plan on doing some miniature things this week!
I'm looking forward to it... !

Thanks for following me, even though I'm not good enough to update.

I even consider to put out a clip of a consert I resently had, what do you think?:)

Have a splendid day everybody!

Long time, no see!:)

Sweet holiday!
It's only a few days left, and I've been
really busy.
Since i've been so busy, there haven't been time to make miniatures:(
But some small things did I get to finish.

These macrons I've painted.
I loved making them, because it's simple and fun to make.

Make two balls (brown and white) , cut the brown in two.
Make the edges round, so you don't have the cut mark.
Make the white ball a little smaller, cut it in two.
Do the same with the edges, as the brown.
push the white slice on one of the brown parts.
put the other brown half, so the white is in the midle.
So the fun part...
Use a scalpel, toothpick or a needle.
And make the edges on the sides.

This is the first teapot, cups and plates I've ever made.
Not so happy with the outcome, but with a little practise...
I think I can get better at it!

This is my dollhouse, I got it from my mom some years ago!
I haven't done anything with it, just waiting for the inspiration to come.
I want it in a baroqe style. ( I don't know how to spell it)
My little brother and sister, enjoy playing with it.
But I don't think they get to do that when I start working on it.

Hope you all had a great easter.

Lots a love

Dikte!

Want some sweets?

This is box is something of the most useful I have bought this month.
I get all my Fimo and Cernit clay in the biggest draw, the
tools I've found around the house
and all the small things!
I Love it!

This is my workingarea, it's a old table that I borrow from my mother.
I play guitar, you can only see 2 of them but I got 3 (electic) and, I sing, so it's one of my other hobbies.
( I got loads; kitting, jewellery, painting... so on)

This is some cookies and chocolate for the cupcake store.
I don't know if it the right size, but it's very small.
The white decor on the chocolate is not painted on, it's rolled out fimo.
(If you wondered)
it took time you can say, but I enjoyed every minute!

I don't know if the cookie colour is right, what do you think?

I hope you liked it, and got water in your mouth.
(just kidding)

I have some other pieces waiting to get into the oven,
but I need to make more!

Any tip on how to store the things you make, but can't put in the oven because
it's not enough to fill the plate?
